go inward

It's important to unfold your back feathers every so often. There are so many hidden life treasures in there.

Feel what is near the core and pull up on each separate feather till you have touched them all. Celebrate yourself.

Only then can you remember what it felt like to learn to fly.

end of day

He is wet and happy.

And when he was finished fishing he took his hat off, threw more water over his head, put his hat back on and went home to eat his dinner. I love this guy.

in the pink

It only lasted for a moment but the whole world turned pink while the fishermen fished, the dogs ran after the shorebirds and I attempted to imprint it in my memory.
Next week I'll be in Arizona where the desert and the Catalina Mts will draw me in.

a very good morning

My car is now filling up with sand, spilt coffee, lost lens covers, old flip flops, and a few assorted old cover ups. Life has returned to my old normal. I am happy.

Their wing span is enormous, and they regularly fly around the globe. Imagine that! I am thrilled to be so close to an albatross in Hawaii.

vicarious thrill

This young Hawaiian had an energy field around him that was so strong it reached right into my skin as I watched from the beach. I felt like I was riding high with excitement just witnessing his bliss.

she was young once

Do you see why I love trees so much? This monkeypod tree in Hawaii stopped me in my tracks. A hundred years old and dressed up in her best green leaves to bring in the new year. I wonder what her root system looks like...

Welcome 2017

Let the new year bring possibilities, acceptance and most importantly the joy of being present in the moment.
