beauty is in the eye of the beholder
These Turkey Vultures spent the afternoon in our yard in Florida back in 2015
They clean up our world of dead stuff for which I'm very grateful.
And I think they are beautiful....

a flutter fluster
Well this was upsetting to watch.
Lots of commotion along the beach this morning.
These two were definitely NOT getting along.
And in the end the poor gull on the bottom practically drowned.
I have no idea why any of this was happening.

another good morning
I was alone at the beach this morning, maybe because I was so early.
The sun came through the cloud cover to reflect on the shore.
Once our world returned from the dark the waves were lit from behind.
The light continued to change and I continued to fall in love with the ocean.

sunrise
Yes, the sun did rise but we just couldn't see it.
I was too busy capturing the waves to even notice.

Good morning Hobe Sound
It's good to return to my early morning routine in Florida.
Nothing has changed, it's still perfect.

Feeling shy?
I have discovered that birds have emotions.
and today as I review my images on this rainy day,
I discover so many shy birds.
But I'm happy that they trusted me enough
to come out from their places
To see if I'm shy too.
