I'm afraid of big waves. There's a lot of power in those waves. I'm afraid that they will throw me off my feet and I'll land with my head in the sand. I actually prefer the calm between the waves where I can just hang out on my back and look up at the blue sky. So this new year I'm going to breath deep and take the plunge right through this wave. I will need the help of my grandchildren to give me the confidence to go for it, I feel much braver when they're around...
