Tully and I watched this great blue heron in the early evening on the golf course. We also watched a tricolor heron, a little blue heron, a great egret, a snowy egret and an ibis, all foraging along the banks of our ponds. Tully sat right next to me, never moving while we watched them fly and feed. She has learned that when the camera comes out of the backpack she is to sit still. That is not as easy for her as it is for me. She is just happy to be out there with me and I am just happy to be out there….
