This little chipmunk was playing on the lawn when he spots the Great Egret.
This is not going to turn out well so if you want to stop reading this will be a good place to do that.
It was quick , not as quick as I would have liked, but quick.
One life gone while another is sustained.
Nature is complicated and certainly not for the faint of heart.
My heart remains fragile yet wiser...
