the colors of a northern winter

Walking the beach takes on new meaning this time of year in the north. The only part of me that is free is my face, the rest bound in warmth against the cold wind and thinning sunshine. My iPhone comes out of my pocket when I simply can't contain myself any longer from capturing the beauty all around me. These are the anchors from the dock that have been dragged to above the high tide mark where Tully and I like to wander.
