Can you guess what this might be?
Nature has released her hidden treasures once again.
 I see this as an impressionist painting that has been touched by human hand to draw out the vibrancy and form.

    It's tree bark that I processed in LR by adding contrast and vibrancy. So the answer is yes in a way it has been painted!
